The college magazine is unlike music magazines, not only does it look as if the male figure in the image is slightly smiling, unlike general music magazine where they look more serious and composed. The college magazine, has information on education and college life. In comparison to music magazines where they are advertising new music and products, music magazines are generally more vibrant or neon bright, whilst college magazines are a little more bland, but still have soft light colours. Most music magazines are for teenager and young adults (not all but a majority, especially genres like hip hop,R&B)and college magazine are also aimed at the the same audience.
